BOARD MEMBER VOLUNTEER DESCRIPTION
BASIC FUNCTIONS: Provide fiscal and management oversight, determine company’s policy and goals, leverage financial resources to support the company’s programs. Members must be personally dedicated to the program participants, the work of danztheatre and its vision for the future.

Board Member Expectations
Personal Giving
- $500 give or get per year (tax deductible) $100 for auxiliary board
- Each board member will set a personal goal for themselves to give or to raise through monetary giving or in-kind donations
- Purchase or sell (10) tickets to annual benefit - (5) tickets for auxiliary board
- Help to secure raffle prize and auction items
- Purchase Raffle tickets
- Help to spread the word about performances
- Purchase 4 tickets to performances
- Bring guests to the performances
- Help out with box office or concessions if needed
- Should attend all quarterly board meetings
- Attend (End of) Summer Soirée
- Participate and/or attend all major events
- Provide support in your area of expertise
- Always be a positive advocate for Chicago Danztheatre Ensemble and their mission and vision
