Becoming a CDE Board Member
CDE Board Members dedicate approximately 5 hours per month to CDE. As part of this, board members are required to:
- Attend all four annual board meetings
- Attend annual fundraiser
- Sell at least five tickets to annual fundraiser
- Attend 75% of other fundraising events
- Attend 75% of performances
- Tour at least one of our schools
- Identify and attend at least one networking event on CDE’s behalf to recruit donors
- Bring at least five contacts to attend performances each season, five who donate, and five to add to database.
- Give/get $500/year (personal donation and donation from contacts brought to CDE)
CDE is particularly interested in board members with the following skill sets and interests:
- marketing/communications
- event planning
- human resources
- early childhood education
- financial planning and nonprofit law
