HOW MUCH DOES IT COST TO RENT?

Cost: $10 per hour
Size: Approximately 20x10, suitable for 1-3 dancers/performers in rehearsal, stage readings, and auditions, located on the third-floor lofted area above the Main Auditorium space
Included: Marley Floor, fans, natural light, outlets, Wi-Fi, gender neutral bathrooms
Not included: sound system, A/C

Approximately 40x40, with space on the sides (it's massive!), suitable for a large group of dancers/performers performance (up to 20), located on the second floor of the building. There is a wooden upper stage (13 x 40) with six steps leading to it.
Included: Marley Floors, overhead lighting, fans, outlets, and extension cord, Wi-Fi, and gender-neutral bathrooms. For performances, it features all LED lighting, four moving lights, projectors, and a comprehensive sound system.
Not included: A/C
Guest Capacity: 75 people for seated performances, 100 People for non-seated events. For 70+ people non-seated concerts there will be an additional $20/hr fee to pay for front of house staff.

WHAT ARE THE STEPS FOR BOOKING A PERFORMANCE?
We ask that you look at the Auditorium Schedule first, then email [email protected] and share with us information about the performance, your production needs, dates and time, and any other basic information.
We do our best to accommodate people as much as possible. We do ask that you make a request for rehearsals at least one month in advance of your desired dates.

WHAT IS THE PAYMENT SCHEDULE?
Rehearsals: Payments for rehearsals are due before the first scheduled date.
Reoccurring rehearsals: (scheduled weekly or daily) must be paid monthly or one total payment for the contracted rehearsal time. CDE will send an invoice that will have dates and times that you have contracted for rehearsals. Renters will be charged for rehearsals if they are canceled in less than 48 hours before reserved dates, if there is an emergency, severe illness, or other reason, this may be waived.
Performances: a $200 deposit is due at the time of signing of the contract with the balance at the end of the contract. For single day contracts a $100 deposit is due at the time of signing of the contract with the balance at the end of the contract. CDE will send to a separate performance contract agreement.
Pay fees on time to avoid a $50 late fee, and if payment is not made 30 days past the due date, the agreement becomes null and void.

All artists need to fill out the CDE Rehearsal and Rental agreements, which will allow renters to get a door code:

RULES OF SPACE?
- No Glitter
- No outside alcohol sales
- No smoking or vaping
- If a production contains nudity, gunshots, or other acts of violence, a trigger warning statement must be included in the program and posters to be hung in the auditorium.
- Return tech supplies to proper bins and shelf
- This is a shared use space, so, please keep the space clean

We are currently not wheelchair accessible; this is something that we are hoping to change in the future.
