Mandy Milligan Movement ProjectMandy Milligan Movement Project is directed by Mandy Milligan in collaboration with Filmmaker Sean Rafferty. Since moving to Chicago in 2017, Milligan’s choreographic work has been shown at the Links Hall 40th Anniversary Celebration, the Overture Center in Madison WI, Dance Chance, Going Dutch Festival, First Drafts, RADfest, St. Louis Contemporary Dance Festival, Dance City Festival Chicago, and the Body Passages Residency with Chicago Danztheatre Ensemble. Her dance film work has been shown at PREheat, enCore dance film festival, Chicago Danztheatre Ensemble, Dance City Film Festival, and Short Stack Film Festival. MMMProject is a contemporary dance company that weaves multidisciplinary elements such as film, drag, theater, visual art, and live music into each performance. MMMProject will be producing its first full length production at Chicago Danztheatre Ensemble in August 2026.

We Are CollectiveWe Are Collective’s mission is to create a unique and uplifting movement space for the queer community at-large through the shared practices of performance, community events, and educational opportunities. We Are Collective’s vision is to create a foundation of resources and connections to radically support queer movement artists while being appropriately sustainable physically, mentally, and monetarily within the marginalized communities that are present within it. We aim to create a consent based, human forward, space that allows artists to explore, investigate, and create while in community.

I AM: A MOVEMENT STORYReign Drop (they/he) is a dancer, director, and choreographer based in Chicago, Illinois. While completing their degree in dance from Columbia College Chicago, they were mentored in choreography and improvisation by Darrell Jones and Lisa Gonzales. In the community, they have led an Improvisers’ Dance Jam for Chicago Dancemakers Forum, performed for Erin Killmurray, created work for Synapse Arts and Danceworks Chicago, choreographed for the iconic Shea Coulee’s "Rewind" music video, and are the co-founder of We Are Collective. They are also a founding member of Queer Dance Freakout and a teaching artist through Synapse Arts. Throughout their artistic practices, they focus on researching contemporary movements that embody autonomy, liberation, and connection, which aids their mission to share their story and honor the stories of all magical trans people.

Kennedy FreeKennedy Free is a painter and community organizer based in Chicago. She creates whimsical paintings and self portraits that capture her intersectional experience as a Black woman. Her work embodies the joy, femininity that exist within her identity. Using vibrant colors her work leaves a daydream-like impression on viewers. She enjoys experimenting with color, patterns, and textures to create inspiring and nostalgic works
Alongside visual art, Free has dedicated the last several years to fostering a community that prioritizes women of color. She has been the head curator of events like: fashion shows, open mics, vendor markets, gallery shows and more. Through her art and community work, she hopes to continue blending her creative vision with her passion for uplifting others Free has been a part of notable collaborations with organizations like the Museum of Contemporary Art, The Design Museum of Chicago, You Are Beautiful studios, the Chicago Stars and much more. Rialin JoséRialin José (pronounced RY-lin ho-ZAY) (she/they) is a queer, first-generation Filipina American multidisciplinary artist based in Chicago, specializing in feminine horror and mythology illustration. With a BA from Columbia College Chicago, José uses her background in film to showcase her artistic process through videos. Her work is often influenced by her heritage, as she seeks ways to honor and celebrate her Filipino roots. In late 2021, she shifted her focus to horror illustration, and since then, her work has explored themes of gore, femininity, and sexuality. This is often represented through an eldritch pin-up art style and mythology studies. She has become well-known as “aniniwan” across social media. Her work has been exhibited in multiple galleries, including but not limited to: Zhou B Art Center, Bridgeport Art Center, Epiphany Center for the Arts, Jackson Junge Gallery, and Minasa Art Gallery. She was awarded the title of "Best Visual Artist" in the Chicago Reader's Best of Chicago 2023 and was selected as an artist-in-residence for Chicago Danztheatre Ensemble’s Body Passages residency.
