Voices Project:
The Voices Project was launched as a means to create socially conscious works that both illuminate important sociopolitical issues and help raise awareness for organizations that do work surrounding those issues. We collect stories and seek to generate work that reflects peoples from a variety of cultures and backgrounds, providing a voice for those who are often unheard. We partner with community organizations in numerous ways, everything from donation drives to artistic partnerships. Communication is an integral element in The Voices Project. Post performance talkbacks are lead by activists, psychologists and artists and provide an opportunity for meaningful around what are often complex topics.
