Auxiliary Board Member Expectations The Auxiliary Board is a group of young professionals dedicated to raising awareness of Chicago Danztheatre Ensemble’s social justice mission both on stage and in the classroom —through dynamic networking and leadership opportunities, unique programs and performances, meaningful service, and fundraising. All funds raised go to support Chicago Danztheatre Ensemble.
Prospective members should be interested in the mission of the organization, the objectives of the Auxiliary Board, and have the time to fulfill the responsibilities of membership. Membership requirements include involvement in Auxiliary events, attendance at Auxiliary board meetings and committee meetings necessary for event-related planning.
Personal Giving $100 give or get per year (tax deductible) Each board member will set a personal goal for themselves to give or to raise through monetary giving or in-kind donations
Fundraising Purchase or sell (5) tickets to annual benefit Help to secure raffle prize and auction items Purchase Raffle tickets
Performances Help to spread the word about performances Bring guests to the performances Help out with box office or concessions if needed
Benefits Networking with like minded individuals who are interesting in social justice Attend all performances for free Behind the scenes oppertunities to performance Making a change in a child’s life through events
