Adler Danztheatre Project is at its heart a modern dance company, using literature and multimedia staging to create unique narratives that engage spectators through sight, sound, motion, and design. Using body movement as a primary storytelling tool, Adler Danztheatre Project creates sophisticated narratives that are still accessible to a wide-ranging audience by working with its own multidisciplinary company, and by collaborating with literally dozens of other companies and artists through its own festival and its participation in festivals throughout Chicagoland and elsewhere.Audiences are engaged as participants, and are challenged by the experience of art forms presented in unique and simultaneous combinations. Adler Danztheatre Project also believes in continually enriching the education of its company members and community. By holding company classes (that are open to the public) and offering other performance training at a significantly reduced rate, we can continue to develop the creativity of the company artists, encourage them to build on current skills or acquire new ones. We are committed to the ongoing artistic process of the company and the individual development of each ensemble member. Several times throughout the year we offer a variety or workshops and classes. Check back for upcoming workshops. |
